I didnt get really interested in art until I was in my twenties. I piddled with it for a couple of years and then answered an ad for a part time artist. The employer turned out to be AMF which had just purchased Harley Davidson. I did several original designs for them. They asked me if I could produce t-shirts, so of course, I said yes, although at the time I didnt have a clue. I researched how to do it and found that no one really knew how in 1973. I bought a four-color manual tshirt press, and with the help of a clerk at the screen printing supply, I learned enough to start.
